E-Bike Battery 13s4p 48V Frog
BATTERY FOR ELECTRIC BIKE 13S4P 48V FROG
A practical lithium-ion Frog-type battery, built in a 13s4p configuration with a nominal voltage of 48V. This type of battery is designed for bikes whose frame does not allow the installation of a bottle-type battery. Thanks to its special design, it can be easily mounted under the seat, making it an excellent solution for city bikes.
The battery provides stable performance and sufficient power, making it suitable for both daily commuting and recreational rides. The built-in BMS system protects against overcharging, deep discharge, and overheating, enhancing safety and extending cell life. A compact and reliable power source for those seeking a practical alternative to standard mounting solutions.

Note:
Remember the correct order when connecting the charger to the battery. ALWAYS plug the charger into the 230V outlet first, and then into the charging port. Do NOT connect in reverse. Doing so may quickly damage both the charger and the BMS installed in your battery. Reversed connection causes a sudden charging of the charger’s output capacitors through the BMS port, accompanied by a surge current that can damage the plug, socket, BMS MOSFETs, or even the charger’s transistors.
The actual pack capacity (usable capacity) is always lower than the nominal pack capacity (the nominal capacity of the cells it consists of). It is generally assumed that a finished battery based on a pack will have about 10% less real capacity than the theoretical nominal capacity. This is due to many factors, such as the drop in cell capacity under load, or the BMS leaving some capacity unused (discharging to the minimum cell voltage of about 2.7V) to extend battery life.
If your BMS has a power-on circuit (two white wires) and it is open (wires are not shorted), you must connect them (short the wires) to turn the BMS on.
Each cell and package in the nexun.pl online store is covered by a 24-month warranty for consumers and a 12-month warranty for companies.
The warranty covers:
- Cell damage
- Capacity decline (over 15% per year)
The warranty does not cover:
- Errors in assembly that do not comply with the manual or workmanship
- Improper maintenance
- Mechanical damage
- Changes in the product's operating characteristics depending on weather conditions (temperature)
- Water damage
To maximize battery life, use the following recommendations:
1. Fully charge the battery after each ride
2. Fully charge the battery every 3-4 weeks when you do not use it, e.g. winter break.
3. In the autumn and winter (temperature below +12*C), lithium-ion batteries have a lower capacity (by max. 30%) than in the summer, which results in a shorter range. This is normal. During this period, do not use the full powerf or the first 10-15 minutes of riding.
