The kit will turn your bike into a 500W electric bike. The central motor is ideal for city and slightly mountainous terrain.

Motor for bicycles with rim brakes (u-brake, v-brake, disc brakes). It does not fit bikes with a torpedo brake.

TSDZ2 is integrated with the controller, the entire electrical assembly is limited to connecting the connectors.

The display has a USB connector with which you can charge the phone or connect lighting.

4 things you should know before buying

Like any gear motor, especially the central gear motor, this drive is best suited for driving at low speed and heavy loads, such as MTB riding. When driving a 5-10 km / h, such a central drive will consume much less energy than any other motor thanks to the use of gears to downshift.
However, high efficiency when driving at a speed of several km / h comes with a number of negative features in other aspects of use.

1. Due to the fact that the central drive is complicated in construction (it has a rather complicated system of toothed gears), its failure rate is much higher than that of motors without gears (mounted in a wheel). This geared drive should be serviced at least once a year, i.e. lubricated with a suitable nylon gear lubricant. Access to spare and replaceable elements is also necessary due to the wear of internal gears (average service life on the level of 2-4k km)

2. It is a motor that transfers all the torque through the crank system of the bicycle, therefore it leads to faster wear of the chain, cassette sprockets and crank tops. With intensive use, these elements can be worn by by the drive after 800-3000 km). It is important not to use the drive when shifting gears due to breakage of the cassette when the chain jumps over cassette.

3. Central drive is loud, due to the fact that it has a high-speed engine (over 1000RPM), it produces a characteristic howling sound, the louder the greater the natural slack appear on the internal gears of the engine.

4. The central drive motor is tiny and has a small heat dissipation area, which results in the non-susceptibility of such a drive to overloads. You have to make sure that on the ramps such a drive does not exceed the temperature of about 80 degrees, which is the limit of the safe use of such a drive.

If you are looking for a drive for trekking or asphalt, you care about silence, failure-free, maintenance-free and low operating costs - consider buying a motor without a gear drive in the wheel (e.g. Mxus 30H 7x9 / 8x8)

If you are looking for a low speed drive for large climbs, and you prefer to ride with power assist in the MTB style, the central drive can meet the expectations placed on it.
