Thermal switch 140st NO (for motor safety)
It is a NO switch, which means that it does not conduct normally and will close when exceeding 140 degrees. Such switches are used when there is 1 additional wire from the engine. In the case of NO, we use the brake lever circuit. In the engine, connect the thermal switch to the hall GND and lead the signal out with 1 wire. After exceeding 140st, the thermal switch will close and pass GND to this additional wire. This one is connected to the signal wire in the brake handle connector in the controller. Thanks to this, when the dangerous temperature is exceeded, the termal switch will give a signal simulating the activation of brakes and the controller will disconnect the drive in the same way as if it was disconnected from the ignition switch with the NC switch.

Note: The thermal switch will be insulated with professional Kapton tape before shipment. It will be prepared for mounting inside the engine. Adequate insulation is essential as the metal housing of the component could cause a short circuit or other fault.
