The KT36/48SVPRCLDB is a modern and high-performance controller designed for electric bicycles equipped with 36V or 48V systems. Compared to traditional square wave controllers, the sine wave version:

The controller supports both 36V and 48V systems and delivers a maximum operating current of up to 35A, ensuring strong performance and stable operation even under higher loads.

When connected to a KT-LCD3 display, the controller can be programmed and configured for a specific e-bike system. This allows users to enable pedal assistance, set a 25 km/h speed limit, adjust current limits, and access many other advanced settings. The display is optional—the controller can also operate without it, although only basic functionality will be available.
With sine wave (and vector) controllers, the motor typically achieves approximately 8% lower top speed than its nominal specification. In return, it delivers approximately 8% higher torque, resulting in better acceleration and climbing performance.
Do NOT use with BIONX motors. These motors are not compatible with KT controllers and may suffer serious damage if connected.
If you intend to operate the controller near its maximum power output, ensure adequate cooling. For example, do not install it in a completely enclosed space without airflow. The controller can be mounted outside of an enclosure; however, it should always be installed with the cables facing downward to prevent water from entering the housing through the wiring.
The controller features motor temperature monitoring. To activate this function, the motor must be equipped with an NTC 10k temperature sensor.
