The discharge current when working in packs (a battery composed of many 18650 or 21700 cells) is lower than the current specified in the catalog note for one cell. This is due to the fact that many cells in the pack heat up from each other. The increased and uneven temperature of the pack causes rapid degradation of the cell and such a battery may not survive even one season. For the safety and long life of your battery, always design it safely based on the maximum operating current in the pack. Do not overload the cells, do not build a pack based on the maximum current for 1 cell - otherwise your pack will have a very short lifespan.
