This service includes applying a special insulating ring to the positive (+) terminal of a Li-Ion 18650 cell, providing additional protection during battery pack assembly and rebuilding.
The 18650 cell insulator is installed on the positive terminal of the cell. It helps reduce the risk of accidental short circuits between the positive terminal and the metal casing of the cell, especially during spot welding and battery pack assembly.
The service is intended for Li-Ion 18650 cells purchased together with the service. Each cell is fitted with a properly sized 18650 insulating ring placed on the positive terminal.
The price applies to insulating one 18650 cell.
